Helping the community
We believe everyone should have a safe and secure place to live and call home, where they can begin to achieve their ambitions. Our mission is to help that happen for all the people we support.
To do this, we: -
- Provide support to each person as an individual. Each person is different and needs help in differing ways.
- Build positive and encouraging relationships that both supports and challenges service users to meet their own needs and personal goals;
- Provide a client led, resettlement pathway out of homelessness, that combines the experience of the Trust with the needs of the client;
- Build relationships with our community, with the aim of increasing understanding of homelessness and the issues people face.
We have a strength-based approach to our work – each person we support comes to us with their own skills and strengths. By us helping them to see those strengths, people become empowered to start their journey out of homelessness. From first contact with our service, we believe that a person can move on from their current situation to live a more stable life – we hold that value at the heart of our work.
